I am trying to keep my head straight. Reminding myself that (comparing with usual mix of idiots and trolls that comment on news) this thread contains a lot of reasonable responses from Sudanese themselves.

But I honestly think that the teacher should have learned more about the society she come to. And never ever come there.

Cause all these reasonable people would have had her stoned had she named the bear on purpose.

A British schoolteacher in Sudan has been charged with blasphemy for insulting Islam's Prophet after letting her pupils name a teddy bear Muhammad.

If convicted, the punishment could be six months in jail, 40 lashes or a fine.
